ARLOS Ring Buying Guide: Sterling Silver, Open Rings, Sizing and Styling

Shopping for a ring should begin with how you plan to wear it, not just how it looks in a photo. ARLOS offers delicate fashion rings including butterfly and clover motifs, star-and-moon details, V-shaped bands, sparkling accents and open-ring designs. This guide helps you compare styles, understand ring size and care for the finish before ordering.

Which ARLOS ring style should you choose?

A slim or classic band is a versatile starting point and can be worn alone or stacked. An open ring offers a different silhouette, while the Sparkling Butterfly Layered Open Ring, Clover Bloom Ring and celestial-inspired designs bring more decorative detail. Compare width, shape and stone placement rather than relying only on colour.

How do you measure ring size?

Measure the circumference of the finger where you intend to wear the ring, ideally with a proper ring sizer or by checking an existing ring that fits. A paper strip or flexible tape can provide an approximate circumference in millimetres; it should sit comfortably rather than tightly. Check the product's own ring-size information and sizing system before ordering, as Hong Kong, US and other size labels are not interchangeable without conversion. Finger size can also change with temperature and time of day.

Are open rings adjustable?

An open ring has a gap in its band, but the amount of adjustment depends on its construction. Some ARLOS open rings are described as suitable for a range of sizes; this does not mean they can be repeatedly bent or stretched without damage. Check each product's size and adjustability notes. Avoid forcing a ring over your knuckle or excessively opening the band.

Ring wearing and stacking ideas

For everyday styling, a minimalist ring on the index or middle finger can stand out without extra accessories. A slender V-shaped ring can also complement another band, and a butterfly or star motif works well as a single focal point. The meaning of wearing rings on different fingers varies between cultures and personal preferences; you do not have to follow a symbolic rule. When stacking, consider how the edges and stones touch to reduce scratching.

Silver rings, S925 sterling silver and rose-gold colour

Sterling silver marked S925 generally contains 92.5% silver; selected ARLOS rings use this material. A silver-colour finish alone does not prove a ring is sterling silver, and a rose-gold-colour ring is not necessarily solid rose gold. Base metals, surface plating, decorative crystals and other stones should be confirmed in the specific product description before purchasing.

Butterfly, clover, celestial and gemstone-inspired rings

A butterfly design gives a delicate romantic look; clover motifs feel playful, and star or moon styles bring a celestial accent. Crystal-set and coloured-stone looks may suit someone who prefers extra sparkle. The term gemstone or a sparkling appearance does not prove that every decorative stone is a natural gemstone or diamond, so check the material specification.

Choosing a ring gift and caring for your jewellery

For a gift, consider the recipient's usual jewellery colour, ring size and whether they like a simple band or decorative motif. If the size is unknown, check the chosen product's adjustment details rather than assuming an open ring always fits. Wipe your ring gently after wearing, keep it away from perfume and strong cleaning agents, and store it separately to help protect the plating and stones.
